Homemade Sourdough Blueberry Waffles: A Fluffy Breakfast Delight

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Sourdough Starter
- 1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Milk (any variety, such as almond milk)
- 3/4 Cup Blueberries (fresh or thawed if frozen)
- 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Large Eggs
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda.
- Add the sourdough starter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Preheat your waffle maker and set it to medium heat (around level 4).
- Pour about half a cup of batter onto the preheated waffle maker and close the lid.
- Cook the waffle according to the manufacturer’s instructions, until golden and crispy.
- Carefully remove the cooked waffle and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- Serve the warm waffles with sliced bananas and your favorite syrup for a delicious breakfast treat!
