Lemongrass Sour

Makes 2 Drinks
- 2 Ounces Mezcal or Gin
- 2 Ounces Lemongrass and Lavender Simple Syrup
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 Egg White
Lemongrass and Lavender Simple Syrup:
- 1 tablespoon dried or fresh Lemongrass
- 1 tablespoon dried or fresh Lavender
- 2 cups water
- Boil the water with the lemongrass and lavender until it reduces to 1 to 1.5 cups. Strain out the solids.
- Return the strained water to the stove, add 1 cup of sugar, and bring to a boil until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let cool in a separate container
Add all the ingredients into a shaker without ice and shake well to Emulsify the egg whites. Then add in ice, shake, and add to your favorite glass
