Lemongrass Sour

Makes 2 Drinks

  • 2 Ounces Mezcal or Gin
  • 2 Ounces Lemongrass and Lavender Simple Syrup
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 Egg White

 

Lemongrass and Lavender Simple Syrup:

  • 1 tablespoon dried or fresh Lemongrass 
  • 1 tablespoon dried or fresh Lavender
  • 2 cups water

 

  1. Boil the water with the lemongrass and lavender until it reduces to 1 to 1.5 cups. Strain out the solids.
  2. Return the strained water to the stove, add 1 cup of sugar, and bring to a boil until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool in a separate container

 

Add all the ingredients into a shaker without ice and shake well to Emulsify the egg whites. Then add in ice, shake, and add to your favorite glass
