Heirloom Burrata Toast with Basil and Garlic Olive Oil
Serves 2 to 4
Ingredients:
- 1 to 2 Large Heirloom Tomato
- 1 Baguette
- 8 oz Burrata Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 2 Large Garlic Cloves
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- A Bunch of Fresh Basil
- Preheat for 350F
- Cut the baguette in half long ways. Drizzle oil olive. Slice the bread into 4 inch long pieces. Slice desires amount of burrata and smear on each piece of toast. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
- In a small pan add 1/4 cut olive oil and minced garlic. Saute until lightly golden brown (about 1 to 2 minutes)
- Slice tomatoes in desired size to lay on top of the toast.
- Once bread is nicely toasted and cheese is slightly melted. Drizzle a tad of the garlic oil on the toast and burrata, lay out the leaves of basil on top, then add the sliced tomatoes. Drizzle the rest of the garlic oil and salt and pepper to taste.
