- Juice of 1 lime
- Juice from 2 pomegranates (approximately 1/2 cup)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pomegranate Juice: Cut the pomegranates in half. Scoop out the seeds into a small pot. Over medium heat, muddle the seeds to extract the juice, adding a tablespoon of cane sugar to sweeten.
- Strain the Juice: Once fully muddled, remove from heat. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to separate the juice from the pulp.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, bourbon, freshly squeezed lime juice, and the strained pomegranate juice. Shake vigorously to blend.
