Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters Recipe

Serves: 4-6

Enjoy a quick and delightful treat with our Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters, perfect for chocolate lovers. Made with rich dark chocolate and crunchy raw almonds, these clusters are a simple yet satisfying snack that’s sprinkled with a touch of sea salt to enhance the flavor.

  • 3 cups dark chocolate (or your favorite type of chocolate)
  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 1/2 tablespoon sea salt

  1. Prepare a Double Boiler: Fill a small to medium pot with about two inches of water and bring to a boil. Place a heat-resistant bowl on top of the pot, ensuring it does not touch the water (maintain about two to three inches of space from the bottom of the pot to the bottom of the bowl). The water should slightly touch the bottom of the bowl.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Turn the heat down to simmer. Add the dark chocolate to the bowl and stir constantly until completely melted. Turn off the burner once melted; the residual heat will keep the chocolate smooth.
  3. Coat the Almonds: Add the almonds to the melted chocolate one cup at a time, stirring until they are completely covered in chocolate.
  4. Shape the Clusters: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spread the chocolate-coated almonds onto the parchment, ensuring they are touching. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  5. Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer for 20-30 minutes until the chocolate has set.
  6. Break Into Clusters: Use the end of a wooden spoon or your hands to break the set chocolate into small clusters.
  7. Storage: Store the clusters in a bag or container in the freezer. Enjoy them cold for a refreshing treat!

This deliciously simple recipe not only satisfies your sweet tooth but also offers the health benefits of dark chocolate and almonds.
