Chili Queso Dip 

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Bag of your favorite Tortilla Chips
  • 2 Cans Chili
  • 2 8oz Package Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 Shredded Cheese (Your choice of cheese, we used mexican blend)

 

Toppings:

  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 1 Jalapeños

 

Optional: 

Shredded Chicken

  • 1 Chicken Breast
  • 1 Teaspoon Chipotle
  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  •  1 Teaspoon Carne Asada Seasoning

 

  1. In a medium sized pot add 2 cans of chili, 2 packages of cream cheese, and cheese; stir until you start to see some bubbles.
  2. Dice up red onion and tomatoes. Cut avocados into small squares and slice jalapeños. Place all toppings on top of dip.

 

If adding chicken:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. add 1/2 of all the chicken seasonings to chicken and bake for 25 to 30 minutes (make sure it is cook al the way through).
  3. With two forks shred the chicken and add the rest of the seasoning.
  4. Add chicken on top  of dip.
