Holy Basil is one of my favorite herbal remedies and my go to for so many issues I have had over the years.

I started using Holy Basil around 9 years ago and now I use it religiously. I recently stumbled upon Mary Ruth’s Herbal Remedies and I love what her company represents…Quality products, organic, vegan and a family owned business. Holy Basil Use:

I have used Holy Basil for acne around my jaw line; I apply at night straight on my face without diluting it and wake up with soft, clear and clean skin. I have super sensitive skin and holy basil has not once irritated it.

I have used it for curing cavities! Thats right! You heard me correctly…CURING CAVITIES! Use 10 drops of Holy Basil mixed with 1 tablespoon of Organic Coconut Oil and mix around in your mouth for 20 minutes (I know thats long, but its worth it). Repeat this daily, 3 to 4 times a week for 1 to 2 months depending on the severity of your cavity. Then go back to the dentist and what their mouth drop!

I have used it to not only sooth my stomach ulcer pain but also in helping get rid of my stomach ulcers. Getting stomach ulcers was definitely my turning point to start eating and living a healthier life. Holy Basil definitely helped in opening that door to alternative ways of medicine, specifically  herbal medicine for me.
