Pumpkin Sourdough Bread
Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour (may substitute for gluten free flour)
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 8 oz can pumpkin puree
- Preheat oven to 350f
- Line a 9×5 loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add all dry ingredients to one bowl and mix.
- In a pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, add brown sugar and mix until well combined.
- Add in vanilla, egg, sourdough starter, apple juice, pumpkin puree, and mix well.
- Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until well combined.
- Pour into your loaf pan and bake for 60 mins.
- Let cool for 15 minutes.
