Pumpkin Dog Biscuits



1 cup apple cider

1 cup pureed pumpkin

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 1/4 cup rolled oats

1 cup wheat flour

1/3 cup wheat germ


Preheat oven to 400 F

Cut pumpkin into large slices and face down on a cookie sheet.

Based on the size of your pumpkin, bake anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes. Bake unto fork can easily pierce through the skin.

Then cut off skin and puree until smooth a all one texture.



In a large skillet add apple cider, vegetable oil, and honey. Saute until everything is mixed together evenly.


Add in cinnamon, oats, flour and wheat germ to the wet ingredients until everything is mixed thoroughly.


Make one inch balls, press down with spoon or fork and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
