Ladybugs as a Natural Pesticide

These beautiful creatures are $8 dollars well spent!

You can find ladybugs at most nurseries or garden supply store from spring to late summer.

My kale, brusselsprouts and romanesco get a lot unwanted aphids. Instead of using nasty chemicals I use a combination of my tomato leaf spray and ladybugs.

At dust, right about when the sun goes down release the ladybugs into your garden. Just open the container and leave on its side.

I leave a tiny dish of water out for them as well with little peddles in it so they don’t drown.

The ladybugs will go to town!
