Join us for an intimate day retreat on a breathtaking private 10-acre property in Davenport, California.
Surrounded by rolling hills, open skies, a peaceful koi pond, flourishing gardens, and a sparkling pool, we’ll spend the afternoon creating, relaxing, cooking, and gathering around the table.
Inspired by the Italian philosophy of La Dolce Vita—the sweet life—La Dolce Giornata is an invitation to slow down and savor the simple pleasures that make life meaningful.
This is not a conference.

Your Day
Welcome to the Property
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with seasonal refreshments before easing into the afternoon at their own pace.
Spend the first hour however you’d like:
• Enjoy a welcome beverage
• Wander the gardens
• Relax by the pool
• Take a swim
• Meet fellow guests
• Explore the beautiful property
This first hour is intentionally unstructured—an opportunity to leave the busyness of everyday life behind and simply be present.
Guided Painting Experience with Sierra Evans
Artist Sierra Evans will lead a relaxing painting experience designed to inspire creativity and self-expression.
Whether you’ve painted for years or are picking up a brush for the very first time, Sierra will guide you step-by-step as you create your own artwork to take home.
This experience isn’t about perfection.
It’s about slowing down, embracing creativity, and enjoying the process.
Poolside Pause
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Enjoy time to swim, relax, explore the property, or simply continue conversations with new friends.
One of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is unhurried time.
Pasta & The Art of Gathering
Beginning at 3:30 PM
As the afternoon transitions toward evening, we’ll gather together to prepare dinner.
Using fresh garden herbs, seasonal vegetables, and ripe summer tomatoes, we’ll learn the art of handmade pasta while sharing stories, laughter, and conversation.
Throughout the experience we’ll also celebrate the beauty of simple, quality ingredients.
Guests will enjoy an olive oil tasting featuring Evie Olive Oil, learning how exceptional extra virgin olive oil can transform even the simplest dishes.
We’ll also experience a small tasting of artisan finishing salts from San Francisco Salt Company, discovering how different salts bring unique flavor and texture to fresh bread, olive oil, and seasonal ingredients.
This portion of the afternoon celebrates one of life’s simplest joys:
Creating beautiful food together.
Long Table Dinner
As dinner comes together, we’ll gather around a thoughtfully styled table overlooking the property.
Set with beautiful Annieglass tableware and seasonal details, the table is designed to celebrate the art of hospitality.
Together we’ll enjoy:
• Italian-inspired seasonal salad
• Fresh artisan bread served with Evie Olive Oil and a selection of artisan finishing salts from San Francisco Salt Company
• Handmade pasta created together during the class
• Garden-inspired sauces made with seasonal California ingredients
• A curated wine pairing from Windy Oaks Estate, celebrating the exceptional wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains
• Seasonal dessert
The evening is designed to feel less like a class and more like a celebration—sharing the meal we’ve prepared together around one beautiful table.

Transportation & Responsible Enjoyment
Throughout the afternoon and evening, guests will enjoy thoughtfully selected wines from Windy Oaks Estate, our official wine partner for La Dolce Giornata.
Because wine will be served, we encourage everyone to plan transportation accordingly if they intend to drink.
We’re currently working to coordinate trusted local transportation options and will provide recommendations to registered guests as they become available.

As the sun begins to set, the coastal air can become quite cool. We encourage you to bring a sweater, wrap, or jacket to stay warm and comfortable throughout the evening.
