My Home Kitchen Inspiration

Our kitchen remodel has been a long time coming, and I’m thrilled to finally be diving into it. When my son was a baby, I used to bathe him in the kitchen sink using this large whale tub, and after many of uses, the countertop started to crack (don’t ask me how). It’s time to create a space that’s not only functional but also reflects our style and personality.

Here’s the vision I’ve crafted for our dream kitchen:

Materials and Features

  • Stone Walls: I’ve chosen Delgado Stone’s Port Victoria stone veneer for the walls. It brings a timeless, rustic charm to the space.
  • Countertops: Iceberg Marble from Marble Creations Inc. is my pick for countertops. It’s elegant, durable, and will handle anything we throw at it.
  • Cabinet Hardware: The Small Black Cast-Iron Cabinet Handles from House of Antique Hardware are perfect for adding a touch of vintage flair.
  • Rug: To ground the dining space, I’ve chosen the Adeline Natural Sage Rug from Ruggable. It’s practical and stylish.

Furniture and Lighting

  • Dining Chairs: I fell in love with the Neal Black Steel chairs from World Market. They’re sleek and versatile.
  • Dining Table: The Kinston Solid Wood Dining Table from Birch Lane is the heart of this design. Its sturdy build and rustic look are exactly what we need.
  • Chandelier: For lighting, I’ve chosen the Knightsbridge K5 Crystal Antique Brass Chandelier from Ali Express. It adds a little sparkle and elegance to the room.

This remodel feels like the perfect way to turn a well-loved, functional space into something beautiful and enduring. I can’t wait to see it all come together.
