Hi, I’m Kendra Thompson — a creator, designer, and recipe developer based in beautiful Santa Cruz California I’ve always believed life is best lived in creative motion — whether I’m in the kitchen, designing a space, or working in the garden, I can’t resist a good project and I can never resist juggling a few projects at once!

From developing recipes and designing homes to gardening and hosting women’s cooking classes through Redwood Social, my days are filled with creativity, connection, and community. I love transforming houses into homes and ingredients into experiences — all with a touch of warmth, laughter, and intention.

Before launching Create with Kendra, I worked as a law enforcement background investigator then on the law enforcement response team for a large tech company in Silicon Valley, but my heart always led me back to creativity and connection. In 2019, I started sharing my passions online — and since then, my journey has grown into a space that celebrates food, design, and the joy of creating a beautiful life.

I blend real estate, design, and content creation into one creative journey — sharing home, lifestyle, and design inspiration straight from the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
