Roasted Garlic, Burrata Crostini with Sliced Garden Tomatoes
Any baguette of your choice
Burrata cheese
A whole garlic
A head/bulb of garlic
Tomatoes
Fresh basil
Preheat oven to 375 F
Roasted Garlic
Garlic Roaster (Fox Run 7′ Garlic Roaster Terracotta) – If you do not have a roaster, wrapping each bulb in foils works the same
Soak roaster in water for 45 minutes before placing in the oven
Cut the top of the garlic bulb off to expose each clove of garlic
Place head/bulb of garlic in roaster for 45 minutes
Slice your baguette into 1/2 inch slices. On a cookie sheet, covered with parchment paper, lay out all sliced bread. Drizzle olive oil lightly over each piece and bake for 6/8 minutes.
Spread burrata and roasted garlic on each piece of bread (salt if desired), then place sliced tomatoes and pieces of basil on top.
Optional: drizzle balsamic glaze on top
